Summary
Singapore’s Model AI Governance Framework for Generative AI adapted the country’s earlier AI governance work to the specific risks and responsibilities of generative systems. Issued by IMDA and the AI Verify Foundation, it organised governance across nine dimensions: accountability, foundation models, infrastructure, data, development, testing and assurance, content provenance, safety, and public good. The framework emphasised shared responsibility across model creators, application developers, and system deployers rather than assigning the entire burden to one actor in the AI value chain.
